Reduce size of file of a picture to send it

How do I do that once I have a picture either downloaded or taken with camera

hit the edit icon then the 3 dots in the upper right and resize

Hey dude, go to the picture you want to resize. Hit the edit button, the one that looks like a pencil, then hit the 3 buttons in the top right corner. There's an option to resize it.
