Yes, Samsung News should work on Wi-Fi 6 without issues. If it's not loading on your current phone while on Wi-Fi but works fine on mobile data, here are a few things to try:
1. Check Network Settings Restart your router and see if it helps. If you have a dual-band router (2.4GHz & 5GHz), try switching to a different band. Forget and reconnect to your Wi-Fi network. 2. Disable Private DNS (If Enabled) Go to Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Private DNS. If it's set to "Custom", change it to "Automatic" or "Off" and test. 3. Change DNS to Google DNS
If your networkās DNS is blocking access, try switching to Google DNS:
Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Tap your network > Modify network > Advanced > Change DNS to: 8.8.8.8 (Primary) 8.8.4.4 (Secondary) 4. Disable VPN or Ad Blockers
If you have a VPN, AdGuard, or any firewall app, disable it and check if Samsung News loads.
5. Check Samsung News Permissions Settings > Apps > Samsung News > Mobile data & Wi-Fi. Ensure "Allow Background Data Usage" and "Allow Data Usage While Data Saver Is On" are enabled. 6. Check Router Firewall & ISP Restrictions Log into your router settings and check if Samsungās servers are blocked. If your ISP has restrictions, switching DNS or using a different Wi-Fi network can help test. 7. Reset Network Settings Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings. This will remove saved Wi-Fi networks & Bluetooth devices, so reconnect afterward.
If none of these work, try using a different device on the same Wi-Fi to see if Samsung News loads there. Let me know what you've tried so far!
