Samsung pass temporarily unavailable 255 code 

Tried deleting cache, deleting info, tried Uninstaller updates and reinstalling 

Tried set up with no wifi on

Still  does not work 

Any other suggestion???

Same issue 

Tried:

-clearing cache and data 

-uninstalliing updates 

-factory reset 

-no wifi 

-signing out of old phone,which now my old phone is showing the same error

-resetting network settings

Chatted with tech support. Couldn't fix it. Escalated to "Samsung Pro". Couldn't fix it. My next step is to call tech support.

I've tried all the usual recommended tricks and can't get it to work either. Even tried verifying by email but it times out so fast I can't even click the link in the email before it's failed.

I was FINALLY able to get it to work! I did have to turn my WiFi off, clear my cache, and just persistently try to connect but after a bit it did connect. Now I'm having zero issues with Samsung Pass.

Keep trying but no joy. It just won't work. Samsung chat support just told me to call customer services but after 15 minutes on hold to them I gave up waiting.

Somehow it worked today, only thing I did differently is I switched network mode to 2g/3g only.

Long story short, 4g is over congested and hardly works in the town centre where I live but if I switch to 2g/3g things work better, provided I don't need to do any large downloads. 

So I was in town and switched mode like I usually do. Suddenly it worked on the first try. I was using data connection rather than any free WiFi. 

Didn't do anything else differently. Didn't even clear cache or data or force close before trying it.

what i just did:

Turn off wifi

Close App

Settings - Apps - samsung pass 

DISABLE

3 dots top right - UNINSTALL UPDATES

go to galaxy store - turn OFF auto update for samsung pass. 

do NOT update samsung pass when asked.

yes. unable to launch. tried turning off wifi like others recommended but still says not available
