So there are whispers of Samsung changing its brand name from Galaxy to something else. I would genuinely like to hear from you as long as the comments are respectful. I actually love the brand name Galaxy. I don't think neither Samsung or Google does a good job marketing the brand names Galaxy and Android. Think about it Android is better name than iOS, which is why a lot of articles don't say iOS vs Android, which is the proper way to say it, they say Apple vs Android. The brand name Android sounds awesome. It sounds like a Bigg Robot. iOS looks and sounds like some boring code nobody would understand. But Google isn't marketing it to their advantage. Same with Samsung. There are so many features that Samsung has, that Apple doesn't, that's out of this world and yet they don't market that. To me, Samsung markets their phones like an iPhone, and that is why they will always fall short in the U.S. specifically. I just saw a TV ad where Apple highlights their browser Safari. That is not a new app, but the way they marketed it, was appealing.
So what do think do you think Samsung needs a fresh new brand name or should they keep Galaxy?

The term "Galaxy" isn't bad just because it's old. I think it very accurately describes the galaxy of Samsung products that are made to work well together, by themselves, or with other brand devices. Unlike Apple products that really compel users to buy other Apple products in order to "just work", my Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and S24 Ultra "just work" with each other AND a host of devices from other manufacturers.

There are so many nuances in the Samsung Galaxy, from DeX to Bixby routines, that aren't really promoted the way they should be. My vote is to keep the name "Galaxy" but for Samsung to do a better job explaining what makes it a galaxy... and not just another walled garden.
