Whenever I get a notification my screen turns on for a second before shutting off and it is more annoying than useful but I can't find a way to shut it off. I know that you can use brief notifications to only show the pop up while the screen remains off but I don't like using them while I'm actively using my phone. Please, let me know if there's a way to fix this or how can I request Samsung to add the availability to stop screen wake from notifications.
My notifications are set to "Detailed" so that's not the issue, it's with every notification style and even if notifications are off for the lock screen. I will be sending feedback, thank you.
Not sure if I'm understanding correctly are you after the card notification on the lock screen if so under the notifications lock screen section select cards and it gives you option of what apps for notification to show on lock screen it took me a couple of days to figure it out. (Now I can see whom texted me what missed calls and my camera notification without unlocking my phone, )
I have a very similar complaint. I like having notifications on my lock screen, but I just don't like how it fully lights up the screen for notifications. Especially when I'm driving at night time, my screen keeps flashing me and it's very distracting and blinding
I've tried to mess with all of my settings by toggling on and off the AOD, and playing with all of the notification settings, and the only "fix" seems to be just disabling the notification completely.... which isn't really much of a fix at all.
Like I said, my biggest issue is that the screen flashing while I'm driving is very distracting, and if I just disabled notifications, it's even more hazardous to get to the info I need quickly while behind the wheel...
Yeah I haven't found any good fixes. Hopefully this reaches the right people and is taken into consideration for future updates because for me it's annoying and very bothering.
