SmartTag 2 no longer recognized in SmartThings after app update

I'm having issues with my Samsung tag 2. The app updated on my s24 ultra then my tag 2 stopped tracking. I've reset it muling times with no luck. The app looks different and the tag isn't recognized. According to Samsung bot it shows the tag not registered to me. It reads to reset the tag to factory which I did but no luck. Any help?? Also my cellphone has not received the ui7 update.
