SmartTags battery drain

How can you suck this badly at making a Bluetooth tag??? 

I've checked Reddit and tons of people say the battery life sucks. 

For more details I've had mine less than a month. Already dead. Yes I'm using fresh, fully charged batteries. 

Wish I knew this before buying them. 

I NEVER had this problem with my air tags. 

For a company that everyone says is superior to apple I seriously expect some product testing, alpha/beta testing etc before **bleep** products are just released to the public.

Sounds like you might have got a bad tag since I have 5 tags and replaced the battery 4-5 months ago and still full of charge in then

I'd just like some quality control.

I'm so baffled that a company this big is dropping the ball like this.

I mean I know all companies are focused on money and nothing else right now but danggggg.

I have the Smarttag 2’s and only replaced the battery once in over 1 - 1/2 years with the 5 I have  I’m planning on adding a couple more around the house.
