Samsung Apps and ServicesI got this message
Verizon Msg: Samsung Messages will no longer support RCS after 1.6.2025. Switch to Google Messages to maintain the more robust messaging you're used to." and was wondering what it means?

Samsung Apps and ServicesWe're losing A LOT of customization by this change:
- Conversation backgrounds
- Conversation categories
- Complete app appearance without Material You (Using GoodLock Labs)
- Prioritizing contacts despite Do Not Disturb
- Filtering out spam, marketing, politics, etc.
- And more...
Google Messages ain't worth it. Glad this change isn't effecting T-Mobile right now....

Samsung Apps and ServicesWhy does Samsung hate its users? That is the only reason I can see for them to force us to the king of spyware.

Samsung Apps and ServicesOk, I tried Google Messages for almost 2 months and hate it; I love the Samsung messaging app, so if you don't want Google and Samsung will stop supporting their app, then what other options are there for you? Probably the best thing I love about the Samsung messaging app is the ability to schedule text messages; I can't find this in Google Messaging at all. Google messaging mixes all my Google Cloud and Chrome settings into it. It drives me crazy looking at one app in Google because you don't know where they've taken you to check out that app. Samsung messages are straightforward. You are not confused if you are in a messaging app, on hangouts, or wherever you might be on the Google platform

Samsung Apps and ServicesYou can schedule a message in Google messages. Type the message you want, and instead of just tapping the send arrow to send, long press it and select when to send. I have never had any messages, incoming or outgoing, conflated with any of my other Google services, and I've been using it for 20+ years.

Samsung Apps and ServicesReally?? Thank you. I will try that. It's not like they conflict. It just seems like it's laid out like messaging on my computer. It's not slick and easy like the phone message apps are, but I guess with everything, I will get used to it. I am sure. Thanks for the tips. I appreciate it
