This would be a great improvement as i use the 2 step for logging in on desktop but have to search or scroll everyday to get to them. Other idea is to create password shortcuts that can be added to home screen

Sorry, but isn't that the equivalent of writing your password on a post-it and adhering it to the monitor? Where's the security in that?

It still would require a fingerprint or other biometric/pin to access the info. Not sure how that idea immediately sounded insecure?

It lacks a layer of security. As in my example, I only have to break into your home or office and find the password stuck to the monitor.
