What is this Appselector app for?

Does anyone know why this app download to my phone, what is it for. Do I need it

If it's anything like what t-mobile pre-installed on their phones, appSelector is a feature that gives you more control over the apps that can be installed on your device during the initial setup process. But I didn't use so I can't say for sure.

You are partially correct. AppSelector is basically bloatware that carriers love to install on phones so that it automatically downloads "useful" apps. Remove/disable it and don't look back lol.

T-mobile is notorious for this app lol. I have spectrum and still got it.

Clear cache

Clear data

Uninstall updates

Force stop

*repeat last 3 until force stop Grey out

Make sure Uninstall updates, or u might as well leave it active. With full access to your banking permissions while you're at it! What could possibly go wrong?

I have never seen that app. I search on bolth playstores and it doesn't come up. Definitely delete lol
