Samsung Apps and ServicesMaybe the alert wasn't for your specific location. Also, the EAS doesn't usually activate for heat advisories -- it does for hurricanes, tornados, anything that would require evacuation or shelter, etc. They try not to "cry wolf" too often or no one will pay attention to the alerts when they are important. You can also download the FEMA app, which will give weather and other severe event advisories.
