turn off auto spacebar when editing in S Pen to text

I like using it often, but editing is hard.

I am scribbling in the box within the keyboard. I tap the cursor into a typo word, then tap backspace, then I scribble the correct letter. It automatically inputs a space which puts that new letter into a new word. I don't see any settings to change this. It is a big design flaw!

Unfortunately I don't see any discussion of how to change additional settings to turn off auto separator (space) when editing in S Pen-to-text.
