I have tab s8 plus and mobile s20+. Can I use my 45 watt charger with s20+. I understand it can charge max only up to 25 wattage but my question is around safety. Is it safe if I use Samsung 45W charger with my s20+.

Tablets@samsung_007 Yes you can use it safely. The phone will only use what it needs from the charger.

TabletsSamsung devices have built-in safety mechanisms to ensure they don't draw more power than they can handle, so you don't need to worry about damaging your phone or battery. The charger will adjust its output based on the phone's power needs, so using the 45W charger will not harm the device.
If you're looking for faster charging, you would need a device that supports the 45W charging (like the Galaxy S20 Ultra or newer models that support higher charging speeds).
