Hello,

Can anyone explain why Android auto is not allowed on Samsung tablets?

Android Auto needs cell connectivity to work. Almost all tablets are wifi only.

Nope..seems since Android 10, AA is a system app and won't side load unless the device is rooted. Looks like it's a Google thing

Android auto is an annoyance anyway. I find it much easier to just turn on Google Maps or Waze on my phone and let it run. I dont even need to see the screen, just turn it upside down with the speaker sticking out of my purse. And if I need to see the screen, my car has an old school phone cradle.
