Hi - my Tab A 9.7 hs a round dead spot on the right edge halfway down. I recently got a new case/cover that has a strap to close. And that - coincidentally - is where the round spot is.
Is there a fix for that?
Thank you -

"will the dead spot go away or is it truly dead?"

Take the case off. It should work properly with the case off.

If the case has a magnet in that location, it would be the cause of the issue.

  • will the dead spot go away or is it truly dead?

Well yep that worked. Duh.
Still think it's stupid to have a magnet that can damage the very thing it's meant to protect! lol.
Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
Have a great day

I left the little tab/magnet thingy 'off' overnight and the dead spot isn't dead anymore. I may just cut off the flap closure that's got a magnet in it. TY
