How can I stop these excessive adverts that disturb when busy on my tab?

Spend some time going through apps and turn off notifications.

@Hookz_o This is typically a sign that you have installed a malicious 3rd party app or clicked on a malicious web site. You can close all browser windows, clear the cache and data. But you will probably need to find the offending app and delete it.
