Galaxy Tab A7 microSD drawer won't open

I have a new Galaxy Tab A7, new today.  I cannot get the MicroSD drawer to open.  There is no catch release.  How far into the access hole is the release?

Is there some way to release the drawer without breaking it?

This is resolved.  I needed to use a larger paper clip to apply more force without the it bending.

I nearly broke mine too! The last one had a press and release, but mine is nearly broken. I figure the next time I need to open it, it will undoubtedly bend and break.
If they were going to use this option for accessing an SD Card, they should have included a device to open it without the capability of damaging the cover.
