TabletsJust got my Tab S9 and I have wifi 6E at home however my tablet will not stay connected to it. It will only show connected as Wifi 6. I have a Galaxy book that does as well as an S23 Ultra that also stays connected to the 6E band with no problems. I have restarted the tablet, I have deleted then reconnected to the Wifi, I have turned off the bluetooth and all with no luck. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

TabletsYeah I have been having connection issues like that as well with my Tab S9. It seems fine but then any activity and it will drop then reconnect but it is incredibly frustrating and Samsung doesn't seem to have an answer right now.

TabletsI am returning my second Tab S9. I was on the phone with Samsung for 1.5 hours, and they finally said they would offer to replace it. I told them I was returning it since this replacement would be the third device that would not work. I am very disappointed that Samsung has no fix for this. The forums are full of people with this issue dating back to 2022 on various devices.
I returned an S23 five months ago for the same reason. But neither of our S23 Ultra's have this issue, and they work great. Every other device in our household works perfectly except for these S9 tablets and the S23 I returned. We tried every diagnostic procedure known, but nothing worked.

TabletsAt least you tried several units but that sucks that nothing worked for you. I finally returned mine and as much as I didn't want to because of all the other Samsung products I own, I bought an iPad. I was hoping for a fix but it's frustrating to jump on it and have it drop it's connection. It is a really nice tablet so maybe in the future if it gets fixed I will turn around and buy one again.

TabletsI'm having the same issues, Dex wireless is also lagging even though the connection is 500 Mbps+.
My S23 Ultra stays connected and has no wireless Dex issues...
Sounds a bit like a device problem.

TabletsThis happens with me too. Seems to get better when you turn off "Mac address randomization" under wifi setting which apparently breaks connections on tri band or quad band routers.
This is unique to the galaxy tab s9. My Fold 3 also on wifi 6e does not have this problem and it randomized the wifi Mac.
Same with my older galaxy tab s7. Both have never experienced this issue.
Possibly the main problem is wpa2/wpa3 routers. If you swap the router to using only wpa3 it will not drop the connection. So something is going on with authentication. Perhaps the tablet is not using wpa3 on the lower 2.4 and 5ghz bandwidths and freaks out when upgrading to wpa3 (6e requires wpa3).
I went from compatibility wpa2/wpa3 personal to wpa3 personal for all bands and my tablet does not drop anymore.
This of course means you break older devices that connected to your wifi only via wpa2. You'll need a guest network to maintain compatibility.
