How to make SDcard default storage on Tab A8? I can only format it not format it as internal storage.

I have bought sandisk extreme pro 256gb for my pad. The internal 32gb is already full and I only have netflix and a few apps for my kids.

Please reactivate option to format sdcard as internal storage again.

You can make it default storage for some apps. You can also format for the sd card portable storage. Making it default internal storage would slow down Tab A8 quite a bit as rom storage is much faster.

The pad is already slow and cant be slower:) I need and I want it to format sd card as internal storage just as we could before. The sd card is sandisk extreme pro. I only have a few apps and the system memory is soon 100% full. Why sell pads with 30gb storage if they are useless??

They took away the ability to format an SD card as internal storage some years ago. It was inefficient for running apps. I believe all manufacurers did this. The question is not why sell a device with only 30 gb storage, but why buy one? SD cards were always meant to be for data storage, not app deployment.

The seller told me I could use sd card as it is cheaper to buy sd card than a tablet with more internal storage. Obviously it was a lie.

I activated developer options and enabled "force apps on external" and I used the App Mgr (Apps 2 SD) and moved everything to sd card. The storage used went from 29gb used to 20. Now it can be used again.
