Is S6 tablet compatible w S7 S-Pen

Lost s6 s-pen and replaced w S7 s-pen but s6 tablet is struggling to connect - are the they compatible?  (It doesn't seem so)

Good afternoon, I will be happy to answer this. The Tab S7 s pen will not work with your Tab S6. The original Tab S6 s pen is available from multiple online retailers.
