My new Galaxy tab 7 FE 5G opens certain apps in the portrait display and I use the Samsung keyboard (I dislike their lack of backlighting and the keyboard's button's letters are tactile and make finding the home row more difficult with no back lighting-also it separates from the tab too easily). I tried to lock the display in a landscape setting and using certain apps defaults to portrait. Any ideas or is this a Tab flaw? I had been using Ipad's up until my most recent one "disappeared"/was stolen-I'm an android/PC user and had to use the Ipad for work programs...

Good afternoon. If this is happening with specific apps, check the app settings to see if it has an option to open in landscapr mode. If not, you should contact the app developers to ask if the option is available, or planned for an update.
