Use a Tab S7+ as a substitute for a desktop

Assistance please. 

I want to use my new tablet with a non-smart TV as a mirror.

(The Sharp TV has HDMI and USB ports.)

And a wireless keyboard and earbuds.

Also charging supplied for the tablet.

Can this set-up work with a wireless mouse?

You should be fine.  All the I/O devices will connect to the tablet and with the HDMI connection there should be no lag.

Galaxy Tab S7+ 

 to a Sharp TV with HDMI and three USB ports. Not a smart TV.

Note: I have a 'Tuwejia' adapter, USB to HDMI. It transmits a fixed home screen but nothing else. No video.

Any of this should work, pick your configuration and make sure it has power pass through to charge your tab.

Using the HDMI and USB ports at the same time will reduce your resolution.  You should be able to get 1080p but will have to experiment beyond that. 

Using just One UI allows you to mirror, DeX will give you a DeX desktop on the TV

Your current hub should have worked.
