This has now happened about 5 times since getting this TAB 8 ULTRA. I'll go to Google (or any App) that requires Input. Suddenly the KEYBOARD will not be present. I have to go into Settings and Keyboard Settings and reestablish the Default SAMSUNG Keyboard for it to appear again. Clearly some sort of BUG in these TAB 8's ...

Have you tried clearing the Samsung Keyboard app cache and/r data? Also try uninstalling and then reinstalling it.

Take a alcohol pad and wipe the gunk off the little connector pins. They can get dirty and break connections. Also make sure you do the keyboard case software updates when they hit your device 😉
