I have dryer model # dve45r6100p and it no longer makes any chimes/beeps. Is the speaker on the main board and what part needs to be ordered to fix this?

Hi there, I can certainly understand wanting to hear when your dryer has finished a cycle. There actually may be an easy fix for this, without needing to service the dryer. According to page 52 of the user manual (linked below) the chime sounds can be turned on/off by pressing and holding the "Damp Alert" button for 3 seconds.

However, if this doesn't work, and you've made sure child lock is off, then service would be the next step. There are a few options here we can take based on your warranty status.
If you’re in the one-year manufacturer’s warranty, please gather together the full model and serial number of your unit, and have ready your name, street address, 2 phone numbers (Best contact, alternative number), email, and place of purchase.
