I get the message close protective cover and restart when trying to start the upper washer on my flex washer I bought in Dec 2022. I closed both lids and made sure the inner lid clicked when it shut, but the message still displays. The lid latch isn’t broken and there aren’t any obstruction keeping the lid from latching. I tried turning my washer off and back on, but nothing has helped. I contacted Samsung support and they want to charge about $300 to come out and diagnose. Seems like there should be something systematically to reset this message and allow the machine to run. Please help!
