Pay someone to do preventive maintenance

Can't I just pay someone to do preventive maintenance on my units?

Just my 2 cents you can find a local repair service do a contract type deal to where they service call at certain times or frequently

I don't understand why you would pay someone for something that's easily managed youself. But, there are plenty of people and repair shops that will be happy to take your money to do so.
