I opened the access panel to perform routine maintenance to clean the filter on my Samsung washer model number WF45B6300AW. A hard, black plastic part fell out measuring approximately 7/8 inch in length. It has one closed, rounded end, and the other end is open. The open end had water in it.
Can anyone tell me what the part is? Is it safe to operate the washer without it?
