Washer door glass randomly exploded

I went to put in a load of laundry to wash only to discover the glass in the door had exploded. For no reason. We always wash in cold water, and there was no cycle running. Just exploded glass everywhere. From a quick search I noticed this is not uncommon, still super disappointing! We bought this August 2021.. probably out of warranty but I feel like this really shouldn’t be an issue. For reference the model is WF45T6000AW/A5
