Hello. I just got a new samsung A25 and I have an issue.
Some of my applications require biometric verification via the phone camera. It was quite a straight forward procedure with my previous phone (a non samsung device) but surprisingly the A25 is not registering the biometrics with the apps. I have tried the following
1. Using a white background to capture fingerprints - no joy.
2. Clearing the cache - no joy.
3. Reinstalling the apps and retrying capturing the biometrics - no joy.
4. Contacting the relevant app developers and following their instructions - no joy.
Any new apps that require biometric verification via the samsung camera are also not registering my biometrics. So I feel this is a device issue.
Any app I have requiring or using biometrics, uses the fingerprint scanner, not the camera, and uses my currently set up fingerprint. If you are using an app that requires facial recognition, you would have to set that up first by registering your face in the security and privacy settings.
