Galaxy A35 Routine is active but nothing happens?

I have a routine set, on my Galaxy A35 for when I arrive, at home.  It turns off data and turns on Wi-Fi.

When I go to Modes and Routines, it says the routine is active but data is still on and Wi-Fi is off.

Works most but not all of the time.

I might have found the culprit.  Just saw a notification that Smart Switch turned off my Wi-Fi at 1 a.m.!  I do not have it set to turn wi-fi on and off but.....  I see a lot of people complaining about this.

I use the Data Saver setting when home, which doesn't turn off data, but will restrict apps (of my choosing) to Wi-Fi usage only. This way, should the wi-fi go out, I'm still able to make and receive calls and texts.
