How can I update my Galaxy A20 to android 12?

I have a galaxy a20 that has One UI ver. 3.1 and Android 11. But I need Android 12 because the medical app I need to install requires Android 12. When I try to install it, I get an error message saying it's not supported. I assume One UI needs to be upgraded as well, and it may also need a firmware update. Is there an instruction that tells me how to upgrade to Android 12?

Only way is to sideload the new GW,if Android 12 even exist for a20.

not sure what you mean by sideload or GW. I saw some site that had instruction to upgrade the A20 to Android 12, it was complicated. I didn't do it because it looked specific to that company.

Why not? It begs some questions:

1. Will an upgrade be available, and when?

2. Must I upgrade one UI to 6, or will 4 work to upgrade to android 12?

3. Is there a beta available now?

4. Are you saying "either scrap the app and medical equipment, or scrap your phone"?

Time for a new phone, scrap the phone. There will be no more OS or UI updates to the phone and your important apps will start to no longer work. You are way behind on security.

Support for A20 ended in 2023. You will not get Android 12 for it from Samsung.
