How do I save my photos to a sim card?

It is after you long press photo or album and select item. Click the three dots for More options and then select Move To. See screenshot I took after selecting a couple photos from an album and I drew arrow toward menu of where you would select Move To and then folder in SD card that you want pictures moved.

You could also use the files app and just move them.
Picture default location: internal storage>DCIM>camera
Long press the folder or file you want to move, select move at the bottom, now press back till your at the main page of the files app and go into sd card and click move here where you want to files to be.
