A Series & Other MobileWhen I answer or make a phone call, people can't hear what I'm saying. Its like the microphone is off. If I turn on and off the speakerphone then the regular microphone will work fine.. It only does it at the start of a phone call. Please help

I want to look further into this matter for you guys. Can you all provide your exact model number, carrier & Baseband versions, please?
Also, please verify if you've gone through the following steps:
- Soft Reset
- Tested in Safe Mode to eliminate third-party apps
- Cleared your app cache
- Cleared cache partition
- Backed up & tested the phone with a factory reset
- Reached out to support to set up a hardware evaluation/repair

A Series & Other MobileWe got 2 new J3 version phones in july.
#1 started having the microphone issue on day 2.
It seemed to be related to early morning updates & scans set to 2-3 a. m. Disabled those but a few days later it started to fail again.
The only way to get it to work a soft reset & switch back to normal mode.
Absolutely nothing else worked.
We took it back, they replaced it & it's worked fine since.
The other one (mine) worked fine until today.
That was following an update from yelp.
Did a restart (which didn't work on #1-1 ever) & #2 worked on the first test & others today.
From our simple view it looks like this is shown as a secondary app problem but it is just a precipitation of a core J3 android issue.
We have a significantly greater # of apps on my phone than the other but...
One common set of apps are the Norton series & we wonder if that may be common for other J3 phone users?

A Series & Other MobileI have the same issue on my new Galaxy A5 (2017)
Often when I call my mom's cell she cannot hear me. If she calls me back then everything is works. After restarting it seems to work for a while. I also tried factory reset - didn't help.
I know it's not a hardware issue because I have tried calling her landline and other people right after the failed calls and they can hear me fine. Please fix this.

A Series & Other MobileYou can only speak aloud because I think the background noise filtering algorithm of the phone is faulty and if the speech volume is low, the speech can be filtered out of the microphone sound. Conclusion: The design of the samsung j3 2016 model is faulty.
