Pattern locked out of phone using pattern

i have a galaxy a54 and cannot figure out how to reset my phone. It has a pattern, it keeps saying incorrect passcode. Does not give me an alternative way like thumbprint or pin. I set this phone up with thumbprint and pattern so not sure why i cant use 1 or the other.Theres no other option visible for forgot passcode. It just has option for emergency call only...how can i change my passcode or reset my phone so i can use it?? Please help. Thank you

Did you try to wipe data in recovery mode?

How would that fix a lock screen pattern

It will wipe the phone which is the only way to get it fixed, unless you have another idea on how they can get into their phone

Plus they are wanting to reset it

A reset would just be a hassle in my view

Trying to get into a phone that you can't is more of a hassle, but by all means, how can they get into their phone?

Here's what I would do.

Go to the SmattThingsFind website on another device.

Sign in with your Samsung Account (If you don't have one, better get to wiping that phone)

Then, unlock the phone using the SmartThingsFind menu.

Unfortunately Smart Things Find doesn't work anymore.

The "Unlock" option was removed (with UI 6.0 - 6.1 ?!?)
