Phone freezes when scrolling through edge panels

When scrolling thr o ugh my edge panels,  it freezes after the third panel.

Hello, I understand your concerns on the edge panel feature not working correctly, and I will be more than happy to assist you with this. 

 

First let’s clear the cache

Go to settings, apps, edge screen, tap on force stop and then tap on storage and clean the cache. 

 

Next let’s wipe the cache partition on your device. The cache partition stores temporary system data, to allow the system to access apps more quickly and efficiently but sometimes can get cluttered and outdated. 

Turn off your device, press and hold the volume up key and the Bixby/Power key, when the Android logo displays release both keys, press the volume down key several times til you see wipe cache partition, press Bixby/Power key to select, use the volume down button to select yes, when the process is complete reboot system now is highlighted and press Bixby/Power key to restart device.

Hi could you specify whic device your have the issue on and what s/w version?

Sure. It's the a52 5g. Software version SP1A.2108.12016.A526USQU6CVG5. It's on one ui 4.1 Android 12 with the August security patch.
