Go to settings/connections/more connection settings/printing, then toggle on the print service. If there is more than one, you can toggle them all on - but the default print service should be there. Depending on who makes your printer, they may have an app to download which will provide the specific print engine for your printer.
The means to print, however, depends on what you are trying to print and from which app. Internet browsers usually have a print command (just like on computer), some apps you have to use the share feature and "share" with the printer. If you want to print a photo, the gallery app has a print function. You can either click the 3 dot menu when you choose a photo or you can share to the printer. Other apps may behave similarly. If an app allows printing there will be an item in the menu.
