I recently reset my phone, set the lock screen pin, and promptly forgot it.
Until then, I had added google account, but haven't turned on Google's 'find my device' service.
Now that I've forgotten PIN. is there a way to reset it? The phone won't restart until I put the pin in. Won't connect to wifi either. Also, Android's adb doesn't detect the phone as USB debugging is not turned on.
What are my options at this point? Should I wait until phone discharges fully, and start it with vol-down + power to steer it to reset to factory?
You can do that , or you can force reboot it by pressing and holding the vol up and pwer buttons until it restarts snd let it restart into recovery mode, where you will have to factory reset and then restore your backup.
