Please help... I am unable to find the "cents" symbol on my Galaxy S6, Model # SM-G920W8.  I've tried the "hold down the $ key" but that doesn't work with this phone.  Acquiring this symbol can make my dealing with prices much easier.

Thanks.

@WdB54 That is a 9 year old phone so not sure if any suggestions here will work. But when on the keyboard look for a key like "!#1" in lower left. Click on it and it will switch to keys with symbols on them. You will find the $ sign there.

they're looking for Ā¢

Oops. I saw the $ and my brain went with that.

yeah it used to be there when you held down on $

Here's a trick. Copy the Ā¢ symbol. Go to your keyboard settings, then text shortcut, then text shortcut, then add "cent." For the expanded phrase, paste the Ā¢ symbol. Now, when you type "cent," it'll automatically change to Ā¢ unless you press the checkmark to cancel autocorrect.

and don't add the quotations lol

Could you please explain where is, and/or how to access the "keyboard settings" and what you mean by typing "...then text shortcut, then text shortcut, then add "cent." For the expanded phrase, paste the Ā¢ symbol."

I have tried everything, and the cent symbol is no longer there.

Not many things are less than $, I guess is why it was removed!

yeah it's gone
just copy & paste it into a text shortcut in your samsung keyboard settings
