My battery is very week

When am charging my phone the battery will be at 35% while it is already at 100% but it is at 35%.please what can be the cause?

Thank you for clarification. I recommend seeing if there is an option to do a hard reset on the phone. What is the model of your phone? Is the software up to date?

When the battery is 35 then if I removed the battery from my phone and put it again it will be at 87 or more than
