Hello,

This is NEW Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 15.6", just got last week.

Haven't used much, hardly any new application installed.

But one thing I noticed repeatedly, it's body gets Super-Heated when clamshell is closed and laptop is not being used!

Everything else works good. I read multiple heating issues related to this laptop in this community, but almost all are complaining about heating during normal operations. Mine is just opposite, I noticed, when i work or watch any videos, its temperature is normal or atleast not so much heated.

But everytime I kept it idle in shell-closed even for hours, found the fan running full speed...blowing hot air and laptop's surface is so hot that, i can probably fry an egg!

When you close the shell, it should go in sleep mode and stay cool. Why this issue.

Any help experts, any hint...I already read the troubleshooting link shared by moderators. My case is different, it happens when the box is not used. please read it...

Hello! I understand how this can be frustrating with your laptop getting hot. Just making sure is the laptop going to sleep once it is closed. If it is not you can use the following link to rectify this: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00083427.
