I wish I had read the forums and reddit posts before I purchased this laptop. I would have known about the common issue of the screen cracking. Mine has cracked and now Samsung is acting as if I caused physical damage. They won't repair, they won't replace, and they won't even acknowledge that it's a issue with the laptop design. I don't know what I can do.

Pretty much the same thing happened with a TV I bought a while back. It cracked while screwing mount brackets into the back. They don't care about customer loyalty I guess because they'll just tell you "its almost cheaper to buy a new one." I'm a working class average Joe....so whipping up another 2 grand real quick for a TV isn't a luxury of mine but I think, being that they are a global company, they can probably afford to repair a screen for any device if it's still under warranty. They force you to buy new....just like cell phones and why you can't change your battery anymore lol.

Take it to an electronic repair place and see what they will charge to fix it....phones are cheap to repair so I'd assume a laptop couldn't be TOO much more. I'm not a professional though so I could be wrong lol

I guess the economy isn't very stable, and they can not afford costs for the production of durable products? If you have homeowners insurance, see if they offer electronic coverage. Sorry about your screen.
