At first the animations were the only big problem, there were a lot of errors in the UI but those are to be expected.
Now the animations have gotten worse, to the point that every app I open lags before fully opening (some like TikTok crash a few times before opening) and switching apps is also a nightmare with it not registering my swipes and needing to swipe several times before successfully switching apps. Everything is very very laggy. This is my first One UI Beta (on a phone) and coming from One UI Watch 5 Beta I expected something more refined since the first One UI Watch 5 Beta was great. Beta 2 is desperately needed to fix the lag and animations to make the UI a bit more usable than what it currently is.
Welcome to the beta life. Much previous betas on much older phones used to be unusable as a daily. These days they are much refined than they used to be.
When testing a beta, always do a clear system cache, repair apps. Then go to apps, ONE UI home, clear the cache only and then go to battery and choose "unreatricted", then test
