After months of waiting, my unlocked Galaxy z Fold 4 finally got the ONE UI 5 software update a few days ago. To my surprise this update has now caused my phone to constantly crash and freeze, it's to the point my phone has become unusable at times.
Has ANYONE else experienced this? If so, have you found a solution?

Samsung, if you're reading this, what the heck guys you've had plenty of time to release a stable version of this OS, this is really annoying and makes me miss my iPhone.

A glitch that could be easily fixed by the technicians at Samsung is not worth going back to the worst phones on this planet. Come on. Picture quality is the worst I've ever seen. Even on the latest models. Sound quality horrible. Video picture and sound quality atrocious, and for what the thing is actually used for as a "phone" has the worst sound quality I've been hearing from one release to the next. My nephew and my sister use iPhones. I'm forever hanging up on them and calling them back on their landlines because the phone quality is that bad.

Hello, We understand the frustration of your phone crashing and freezing and apps not working. There are some steps that can correct this behavior.

Try clearing the cache and data for the One UI app. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077611/

We also recommend clearing the cache partition and repairing the apps in the recovery menu.

To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.
- Run the repair apps option and your device will restart.
If you've completed all the troubleshooting and are still experiencing concerns with the phone freezing and crashes and the apps are still not working, we recommend having the phone evaluated by a certified technician. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the evaluation: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location

or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
