Currently if you have two apps running in splitscreen/multi-window and you close one of them, the other window automatically fullscreens. This can break/crash apps that are forced in multi-window mode.
It would be nice if we could "lock" a window or layout so that closing one of them doesn't automatically fullscreen the other and instead opens the app drawer like when initializing splitscreen mode.

Instead, you'll have to use the Edge Panel and drag a new app in place of the undesired one.
