Fold 4 , I hear glass cracking when I open the fold,

It would suggest the screen is damaged

@dpunk007 The noise is probably indicating that the screen protector needs replaced. Continuing to use it with that damage could have lead to screen damage. You should contact Samsung Care+ to get it evaluated.
