Just get a bluetooth mouse and keyboard to your liking available at Amazon or electronics store near you.

The caveat that I found is it has to have been designed to connect to the device specific.

Not really, any BT device will connect with another when properly paired. I assure you my $1 mouse snd $5 keyboard wete not made specifically for my phone. And I use them with 3 different devices.

Pretty much any Bluetooth mouse and keyboard will work. Same is true if you want to connect a USB mouse and/or keyboard via USB C hub.

Are they USB, Bluetooth, or connect via a wireless adapter that plugs into USB?

I read that apple magic keyboard and Logitech will work. Do you know the name of your keyboards? It's it too late to return them?

I have a $5 BT keboard that I bought at five below and it works just fine with my phone. Got a cheap BT mouse from Temu, that also works just fine. Wired might be more problematic, because you would need either a USB A to C adapter fir the charging port or a PD cable and USB C port on the keyboard. Any BT mouse and keyboard should work if you pair them correctly.
