I wanted to provide a list of the 'problems' my phone has before Samsung tries to 'fix' them, even though they are a big part of why I think the phone is better than the S25. Many of these issues remind me of the stupid things Samsung chased to try and beat or keep up with Apple, not realizing we buy Samsung because they are NOT Apple (like bezel less screens that make accidental touches impossible to avoid, so happy they backtracked on that. Or glass backs.... Who thought that was EVER a good idea)

1) "the phone is too thick" - actually as a person who frequently drops their other phones, the thickness of this phone was a major relief. It's so easy to hold closed. Open it is borderline too think to be comfortable. Even with a case I have no issues with it in my pocket. It's enough to know it's there and again, it makes it so easy to hold. Also the thickness I'm sure helps support the S pen (which should have a slot on the phone imo) and better battery life. I hope this doesn't change.

2) "the phone is too narrow" - ok I admit. I thought this was going to be a problem when I bought the phone. But holy cow.... I think it is my favorite thing about the device. When it's closed I can easily and securely use the phone with one hand, even with a case on, and I can reach full across the screen with my thumb. On other modern phones this isn't possible even though my hands are large (I'm 6'3"). The narrowness of the device is so charming. It really gives me the best of both worlds. An easy to use single hand device closed, a two handed beauty when opened. I love the bezels. They make it even easier. Please Samsung, dont chase the stupid form over function design others are pursuing.

3) "other foldables have larger screens" - for the love of God, can we give up on having to judge a phone by the exact mah of its battery pack, the size of the screen it has, and how thin it is? The spec sheet doesn't have to be the best on paper to be a good phone. It takes a true expert to build a good device. Anyone can build a phone with the biggest numbers. It's not the size of your screen. It's how you use it!

4) "they need to improve it somehow" - yes, Samsung, you should improve this phone. Give it the newest chip, give it the 200MP camera if you must. Give it water resistance. Fix the crease. But none of that has to change the form factor.

I think this form factor is the absolute perfect mix for a foldable. The ability to easily use it one handed when folded and the comfort (due to thickness) when unfolded is priceless to me. I want to be able to buy the F7,8,9 when they come out and love them for how much better they work because they are different. Please don't do the thing and make it like every other stupid phone. Please. I'm begging you. You did this with the note line and I left to the Google Pixel because of it. I came back because of this phone and it's quirky design that makes it just... Work.

I'm a power user, I have great battery life (I love limiting my charge to 80% it means I can always charge without damaging the battery), I have huge hands and a hard time finding good phones. You have a winner.

Sincerely,
Excited and afraid.

Someone please buy this man a beer!! I'm on this with you. This ZF6 will be my last fold if Samsung changes the things that keep me using this device. You hit the nail on the head with these points šŸ™. I hope Samsung listens to us, and other ZF users who feel the same please chime in. I use both S25U and ZF6 and I love both but since I started using a Fold, a regular candy bar isn't it for me anymore. šŸ™

I appreciate the love. I actually was on the fence about the ZF6 but I have spent a week with it and I'm astounded at how much I love it.

I haven't felt this way since the note 7..... Yeah that phone was great except for the battery. Before that the note 4 was my first Samsung love.

I'm so afraid they are going to make the new ones just more of the same phone type that suck.

This thing is so unique and so good. And if they want to improve it, there's plenty to do. The form factor is not something that needs improving.

I didn't know what else to do other than hope this gets a little traction and maybe the HW design teams will see it and weigh it into their design matrix.
