Z Fold6 micro gap on front screen

Is there supposed to be a tiny gap in the glass between the frame and the glass on the front screen below the speaker and above the selfie camera?

I just noticed it today. It looks like a silver of glass is missing, top/center. Barely noticable.

It's an air gap for sound to come out of for better stereo effect and for quieter volume output like when on a non-speakerphone call. It's been a design trend for the ultra phones for a while and got adopted by the fold.

I've just always figured that's the phone receiver for when you have the phone to your ear.
