How to use Ambient sound when using only one of the Galaxy buds 2?

So on my galaxy buds 2 I should be able to have ambient sound and noise canceling on just one ear bud.. but recently every time I try to do it it says this

Do you have the noise control with 1 ear bud turned on in accessibility? Earbud Settings> Accessibility> enable Noise control with one earbu
