Changed carrier and kept the same phone, calls going straight to voicemail?

Just changed carriers, kept my device and inserted the new SIMS card. All works well except the following:

▪︎All incoming calls go into voicemail.

▪︎When voicemails are left, none are retrievable.

▪︎Recorded an outgoing voicemail message, yet, it defaults to the device's outgoing voicemail.

Have googled for any help to no avail! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did that; they directed us to Samsung, which we haven't attempted yet. Just thought someone would have an answer vs. waiting 'till Monday.

@CanAnyoneHelp Voicemail is a carrier provided service. So all voicemail issues would be on their end.
